Maitōkan Seto cup and saucer on tripod feet

This 250 ml earthenware cup and saucer by Maitōkan combines a low, three-footed cup with loose floral painting. A yellow flower and a white bloom with pink-edged petals appear inside the cup, accompanied by a small white mascot figure. The exterior is finished in a speckled coral-pink glaze.

The cream-toned saucer repeats the floral scene and is edged with a warm brown line. Its softly irregular outline follows the hand-finished cup, while three small feet lift the vessel slightly above the saucer.

Care instructions

Hand wash only — warm water with mild kitchen detergent (per the maker's care card), then dry thoroughly before storage to avoid moisture retention in the porous earthenware body.

Not microwave safe and not dishwasher safe — the porous body and hand-painted decoration are both vulnerable to heat cycling and detergent abrasion. Avoid bleach.

Because each piece is hand-thrown and hand-painted, slight differences in form, glaze tone, and brushwork may occur and are part of its character.

Returns / damage support

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items. For a standard return or exchange, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, and items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from the description, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging. ZenKiln will cover the reasonable return or replacement cost where applicable.
