Setsugekka Aibana carved-rose dessert bowl
This 14.5 cm Seto-yaki bowl by Kōbō Setsugekka is carved with a rose before glazing. Cobalt-indigo Aibana glaze gathers in the recessed lines and thins over the raised surface, making the floral relief visible through shifts in blue.
