Hand-painted pink cherry blossoms cover the cup and matching lid of this Arita porcelain teacup from Tasei Kiln. A pearly, iridescent ground catches the light around the flowers, framed by a pale pink rim, raised foot, and rounded lid knob.

The rounded, handleless cup has a plain white interior for serving sencha or other Japanese green tea. Its matching lid helps retain warmth before drinking.

Made by Tasei Kiln in Japan.

Painted details and pattern placement may vary slightly from piece to piece. The unglazed underside may show small dark marks from production.
