Hakuhō Kiln
博峰窯 · Ishikawa
Hakuhō Kiln (博峰窯) is a modern Kutani-yaki kiln in Ishikawa Prefecture specialising in Yoshidaya-fū (吉田屋風) revival — the aote (青手) palette of yellow, turquoise, purple, and iron-black with NO iron-red, a defining Yoshidaya constraint. Body is earthenware (陶器) not porcelain, because the Yoshidaya tradition needs a porous tōki body to hold the heavy aote palette. HS code 6912.00 not 6911.10.
Independent Kutani kiln; tradition designated 1975. Hakuhō ≠ historic 1820s–60s Yoshidaya kiln — revival lineage only.
