Transit-damage support · Carefully packed in Japan

A bamboo chasen from carpe diem for whisking matcha. Fine tines help blend the tea powder with water; the thread-bound handle gives you a place to hold it while whisking.

Move the whisk lightly from the wrist, keeping the tips from scraping the bowl. A clear storage tube is included.

Size

Approximately 6 cm in diameter × 10.7 cm high.

Care instructions

Before use, briefly dip the tines in warm water to soften them. After use, gently swish the tines in clean water or lukewarm water to remove the matcha. Do not soak for long periods or scrub the delicate tines.

Shake off excess water and let the whisk dry completely in a well-ventilated place before returning it to the storage tube. Do not use a dishwasher, dish dryer, microwave or oven. Keep away from flames and direct heat.

Packaging & gifting

Clear storage tube included. Let the whisk dry completely before returning it to the tube.
