A HAREKUTANI set for two, with two pairs of PBT resin chopsticks and two flower-shaped Kutani porcelain rests. One pair and rest have pink accents; the other pair and rest have light-blue accents.

Place the two sticks in each pair side by side to bring the bird-and-flower pattern together. The rests, called hashioki, keep the tips off the table between bites.

Hand-wash the chopsticks and rests with mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Take care not to knock or drop the porcelain rests.
