Hand-painted strawberries circle this small porcelain teapot, each one outlined in icchin, a raised-glaze technique that gives the decoration a gently textured surface. Because the motif is painted by hand, its placement and brushwork vary slightly from piece to piece.

Made in Japan by Tokushichi Kiln (徳七窯), this Arita/Hasami ware teapot includes a removable mesh strainer and holds approximately 250 ml.

Care instructions

The porcelain teapot is microwave-safe. Always remove the metal strainer before microwaving.

Dishwasher-safe; hand-washing with mild detergent and a soft sponge is gentler on the raised decoration. Rinse the strainer separately and let all pieces dry before storing.
