Care instructions

Follow the seasoning instructions supplied with the pot before first use. Suitable for gas; not for induction. Start over low heat with food or liquid inside. Never heat the pot empty or use it for deep-frying.

Let the pot cool before hand-washing with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Avoid soaking and abrasive cleaners. Dry the unglazed base completely before heating or storage. Use oven gloves and a trivet, and avoid sudden temperature changes.

For any other heat source, follow the supplied care card. Hand-washing is recommended for both the painted lid and clay body.
