Pink cherry blossoms with gold-coloured outlines wrap around this small green Kutani porcelain daruma by Taishi Kiln. The floral pattern continues across the back.

Daruma are traditionally associated with perseverance and good fortune. Both eyes on this figure are already painted; it is made for display rather than the eye-filling custom.
