This Kutani ware green Maneki Neko is made in Japan by Choho Kiln (長峰窯), its emerald coat worked in hand-painted moriage (盛): raised enamel dots and blossoms piped by hand in relief you can feel, finished with gold koban coins, a bell at the collar, and a contented face.
