A dark, rounded body narrows toward an uneven opening on this Banju Shizuku, or teardrop, vase. Gold-colored decoration follows the textured surface, adding a bright accent to the charcoal finish.

Made in Shigaraki, Japan, by Marui Seito for its Hechimon line. The shape, texture and decoration vary slightly between handmade pieces. Supplied in an individual box.
