Made by 豊大窯 in Toki, Gifu, this two-piece ceramic set is handmade. Slight differences in the face and markings give each cat its own expression.

Care instructions

Place the holder and dish on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Use an incense stick that fits securely and position it so ash falls onto the dish; use a larger heatproof tray underneath if needed.

Follow the incense maker’s lighting instructions and extinguish the flame so only the tip smoulders. Keep away from drafts, flammable objects, children and pets. Use in a ventilated room and never leave burning incense unattended.

Let the incense, ash and holder cool completely before emptying or cleaning. Wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
