A red mushroom-shaped roof, blue windows and a small bird turn this ceramic incense burner into a miniature house. Smoke rises through the chimney while the house rests on its green base.

Part of the Craftsman House collection, the set includes the house, base tile and a small incense rest. It accommodates a cone or short incense stick that fits inside with clearance around the burning tip. Incense is sold separately.

Details & dimensions

Contents: ceramic house, green base tile and incense rest.
House: approximately 7.5 cm wide × 11 cm high (3 × 4.3 in).
Material: ceramic.
Made in Japan.
Incense not included.

Care instructions

Set the base and incense rest on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Use a cone or short stick that fits securely inside without touching the house. Follow the incense maker’s lighting instructions and extinguish the flame so only the tip smoulders before placing the house over it. Keep the chimney opening clear.

Use in a ventilated room, away from drafts, flammable objects, children and pets. Never leave burning incense unattended. The house can become hot; do not lift or move it during use.

Wait until the incense, ash and all parts have cooled completely before handling or cleaning. Remove loose ash, then wipe gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and dry. Avoid soaking and abrasive cleaners.

Includes a paperboard box. The three pieces are carefully wrapped and cushioned for delivery.
