A little pink cat with a big job: in Japanese tradition, the color of a Maneki Neko carries its own meaning, and pink is said to invite love, romance, and good relationships (良縁, ryoen). With its left paw raised — the gesture traditionally said to welcome people and good company — this is the cat that brings hearts to your door.
A Kutani ware pink Maneki Neko made in Japan by Choho Kiln (長峰窯), its rosy coat decorated in the hand-painted moriage (盛) style: raised enamel dots and blossom motifs piped by hand, in relief you can feel, with a little bell at its collar and a sweetly contented face. At 10.2 cm, it fits a bedside shelf, a desk, a vanity, or any small corner that could use a little more warmth.
A thoughtful gift for an anniversary, a new relationship, a new home — or a birthday gift for the person who collects a little luck in pink.

THE MAKER
Chōhō Kiln
長峰 · Ishikawa
Chōhō (長峰, also read Nagamine) is a modern Kutani-yaki kiln in Ishikawa Prefecture known for the Hanazono (花園 flower-garden) pattern and the signature ryōte (両手 both-paws-up) maneki neko series. Distinctive technique: mori-e (盛り絵 raised-line slip) accents over overglaze enamel. Not a coin bank — hollow base only, no money slot.
Independent Kutani kiln; tradition designated 1975
