A small lidded box in soft pink, its domed lid covered in a pearl-like glaze with a faint iridescent shimmer. Pink cherry blossoms with red stamens and fine gold-coloured outlines are scattered across the lid, with a few loose petals between them. The same glaze and blossoms continue inside.

The rounded, straight-sided form follows the natsume, the shape of a traditional Japanese tea caddy. About 8.5 cm across and 6 cm tall — for sweets and chocolates, rings and small jewellery, or a small serving at the table.

The blossoms, shading and colour depth may vary slightly from piece to piece.
