A 14 cm Kutani porcelain plate from Studio Iroe Yū’s Hidamari (“sunny spot”) series. Two cats sit quietly together along the lower rim, surrounded by sparse blue, yellow, pink and green botanical marks on a warm white ground.
The open composition leaves generous space around the hand-painted scene, giving the small plate a calm, light presence on a tabletop, shelf or plate wall.
