Hand-painted plum blossoms and a bird decorate this porcelain cup and saucer in the Kakiemon style. The pattern is called Ume Kachō (梅花鳥).

The cup holds approximately 190 ml, a small serving of coffee or tea. The set is made in Japan and comes in a presentation box. The hand-painted decoration varies slightly from piece to piece.

The same cup shape is also available with chrysanthemum and bird or quail decoration.
