A blue crystal sake cup with gold leaf, made by Toyo-Sasaki Glass in Chiba, Japan. Part of the Yachiyo-gama Edo glass series, this 85 ml cup is called Suzumi-zake, a reference to enjoying sake in the cool of summer.

The glassmaker gathers coloured glass and gold leaf into clear glass before blowing the cup into shape. Each piece has small differences in its colour and pattern.

Not dishwasher-safe. Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners and metal scourers.
