Bright blue glaze covers the inside and outside of this low, wide matcha bowl. Purple-brown bands break across the surface, while the unglazed foot reveals the warm clay below.

Tsuyukusa belongs to Hechimon’s Shigaraki ware line. The broad opening leaves room to move a bamboo whisk. Variations in glaze and shape are part of its individually made surface.
