Slow down your coffee or tea ritual with this handmade Shigaraki cup and saucer set from Hechimon — the art line of Marui Seitō in Shigaraki, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns. The cup and broad saucer share a pressed “mosaic” checkered texture under an olive-green (oribe) glaze that deepens to charcoal at the foot, with a soft crackle (貫入 kannyū) in the celadon-green interior — earthy, tactile, and quietly refined.

At about 240 ml the cup suits coffee, tea, or a slow morning drink, and the wide saucer grounds it for an intentional table. It pairs naturally with wabi-sabi and Japandi interiors.
