Hechimon Kairō tall loop-handle vase

This 23 cm vase by Marui Seitō is hand-built around a teardrop body with a sculptural loop rising above the mouth. Combed kushime lines run through a cream Shironeri glaze, which deepens to amber along the raised ridges.

Care instructions

Stand the vase on a coaster or mat — it holds water for fresh flowers (the body is treated to resist seepage), but condensation or slight seepage can occur and the unglazed foot may be a little rough.

Do not add cut-flower food or detergent to the water — surfactants can interfere with the water-resistant treatment. Rinse and dry gently by hand.

Each piece is hand-made, so form, glaze tone, and combing vary — that individuality is the point.

Returns / damage support
