This policy explains how ZenKiln, operated by Nisshin Co., Ltd. (株式会社日進) in Japan, handles personal information when you browse our store, buy something, subscribe to emails or contact us.
1. Information we collect
The information involved depends on how you use the store.
- Information you provide: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, order details, payment-related information, newsletter preferences and messages or photographs you send to customer support.
- Information collected during a visit: device and browser details, IP address, approximate location derived from that address, pages viewed, interactions, referring websites, and cookie, pixel or analytics data.
- Information from providers: payment and fraud-check results, delivery updates, analytics and advertising performance data, and support or review information where relevant.
2. How we use it

Unsubscribing does not stop messages needed for an order, delivery, return, product-safety issue or other service or legal matter.
5. Who receives information
We share information as needed with providers that help operate the business: Shopify, payment processors, shipping and logistics providers, email and support services, analytics and advertising partners, and fraud-prevention services. Professional advisers may receive information when needed for accounting, legal or insurance matters.
We may also disclose information to meet a legal requirement, protect rights or safety, or as part of a business sale or reorganization. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising-related uses may nevertheless count as “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law.
6. Shopify and Network Intelligence
Shopify hosts our store and processes information about visits and purchases. We use Shopify Network Intelligence: Shopify combines information from interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide services including advertising and personalization.
Information is shared with Shopify and other providers, which may operate abroad. Shopify’s own processing is explained in its Consumer Privacy Policy; its privacy portal provides information about exercising rights directly with Shopify.
7. International processing
ZenKiln operates in Japan. Our Shopify customer-data hosting location is the United States, and other providers may process information in additional countries. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Applicable law may require safeguards for international transfers; contact us if you need information about a particular transfer.
8. How long we keep information
Retention depends on why the information is needed, including completing an order, providing support, maintaining tax or accounting records, resolving disputes and preventing fraud. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and other legitimate retention requirements.
9. Privacy requests
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. These rights can have exceptions, including where records must be retained by law.
Email support@zen-kiln.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Tell us what you would like to request and the email address used for your order or subscription. Include an order number if relevant. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10. Data-sharing opt-out
