Two quail rest among autumn grasses on this 190 ml porcelain cup and saucer. The hand-painted composition follows a Kakiemon-style approach: iron red, turquoise green, blue, and yellow brushwork is held within generous areas of milky-white porcelain.

Care

Microwave and dishwasher use are maker-approved. Gentle hand washing will help preserve the painted surface. The unglazed outer foot may darken slightly with use; dry thoroughly after washing. Individually painted pieces may differ slightly in brushwork, glaze tone, and pattern placement.

Microwave and dishwasher use are approved by the maker. To keep the hand-painted surface vivid for years, we still suggest gentle hand-washing when convenient.

One honest note from the maker: the outer base is left unglazed by necessity of the firing process, so slight darkening may appear there over time — a normal trait of this ware.

Because each piece is hand-painted, slight differences in brushwork, glaze tone, and pattern placement are part of its individual character.

Returns / damage support

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items. For a standard return or exchange, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, and items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
