Arita and Hasami leaf plate with two thrushes

This 15 cm leaf-shaped plate is hand-painted with two birds on a berry branch. One cobalt bird perches above red berries and green buds; a second bird, painted in orange and black, walks below. The diagonal branch follows the taper of the porcelain form.

Mark and use

A cobalt mark resembling the kanji 寿 appears beneath the clear glaze on the base. The mark is recorded as observed; the current source does not support attribution to a named workshop.
