Hand-painted cherries decorate this small porcelain cup from Tokushichi-gama, an Arita and Hasami ware kiln in the Saga–Nagasaki region. The raised decoration is made using icchin, a technique that gives the pattern a little texture.
Use it as a soba dipping cup, for tea, or to serve a small dessert. It holds approximately 160 ml.
