Tenzan Kutani kinhanazume mokkō bowl

This 19 cm serving bowl by Tenzan Kiln has a shallow, four-lobed mokkō-gata form. Chrysanthemums, peonies, cherry blossoms, daisies, and cobalt-blue butterflies fill the surface in the kiln’s kinhanazume flower-and-gold design.

Iron-red outlines separate the pink, purple, white, vermilion, green, and orange flowers. Fine gold lines run through the petals, while some white chrysanthemum petals rise slightly from the surface.
