Hand-painted diamond patterns and gold accents decorate this small porcelain cup and saucer. The cup has a round rim and a six-sided body; the saucer echoes its shape with softly defined corners.

The porcelain retains natural iron speckles, giving its surface a mottled appearance. The cup holds approximately 100 ml, or about 80 ml when filled four-fifths full—a small serving for espresso or tea.

Made in Japan, the set includes one cup and one saucer in a presentation box. The hand-painted decoration varies slightly from piece to piece.

Care instructions

Dishwasher safe. Keep it out of the microwave: the gold decoration will spark.

Small dark iron specks in the white porcelain are part of this ware and vary from piece to piece.
