Details and use

Kōsai-zakura (虹彩桜, “iridescent sakura”) refers to the way the pearl glaze changes with the light. The small hearts are easiest to see when the teapot is turned toward the spout and handle ends.

The capacity suits approximately two to three cups of sencha, gyokuro, hōjicha, or another loose-leaf tea. The sculpted petals are the most delicate part; lift the lid by its rim rather than pulling on the flower.

Packaging & gifting

Carefully packed with protective wrapping and cushioning materials for safe international delivery from Japan.
This teapot is a thoughtful choice for tea-themed wedding, anniversary, and Mother's Day gifting — particularly because of the hidden hearts on the spout and handle.

Care instructions

Microwave and dishwasher use are suitable as confirmed by the maker.
Handle with care to protect the iridescent lid glaze — sweep gently with a soft cloth, avoid abrasive scrubbers.
The 3D sakura lid knob is the most fragile element; always lift the lid by gripping the rim, not the petals.
Slight variations in glaze tone, iridescent sheen, and painted detail are part of each teapot's individual character.
