Both paws are raised on this deep green Kutani porcelain cat by Chōhō Kiln. Colourful blossoms and scrolling patterns cover the body, with raised mori decoration and gold-coloured accents at the collar.

In common maneki neko tradition, the right paw invites financial good fortune and the left welcomes people. This figure combines the two gestures. Its compact shape fits a shop counter, desk or entryway shelf.

Small differences in colour and pattern placement occur from piece to piece.
