Hechimon Kairō small Shigaraki vase

This 11 cm vase by Marui Seitō is hand-built with a low saddle-shaped mouth and a softly off-centre body. Combed kushime lines wrap the surface beneath a cream Shironeri glaze, which gathers into warmer amber tones inside the grooves.

Care instructions

Stand the vase on a coaster or mat — it holds water for fresh flowers (the body is treated to resist seepage), but condensation or slight seepage can occur and the unglazed foot may be a little rough.

Do not add cut-flower food or detergent to the water — surfactants can interfere with the water-resistant treatment. Rinse and dry gently by hand.

Each piece is hand-made, so form, glaze tone, and combing vary — that individuality is the point.

Returns / damage support

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for eligible items. For a standard return or exchange, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, and items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
