This black Kutani ware maneki neko features a snow-capped Mount Fuji across the chest, framed by blue wave patterns, chrysanthemum-and-water imagery, gold-tone scrollwork and small floral motifs. Made in Japan by Chōhō Kiln, the porcelain figurine stands 16.7 cm (6.6 in) high.
