This tall Kirara vase has a pale, textured finish and an asymmetric opening. A narrow gold-colored accent runs down one side, standing out against the white surface.

Made in Shigaraki, Japan, by Marui Seito for its Hechimon line. The Shiro-gesho Kirara finish uses white slip, with variations in texture and color between pieces. Supplied in an individual box.

Wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth; do not soak.
Do not scrub the gold on the rim or in the incised band.
